For us having 3 aged 7, 4 & 2 and having to cope with the whole tt setup - 2+ hours etc the fc was a necessity - our eldest loved sleeping in the underbed esp as the clolour of the material was cream - so not a dark tunnel but a nice bright space for him to go and get away from it all!! But we really couldnt cope with driving all the way to cornwall and then having the pressure of trying to put up the whole thing - otherwise nowhere to cook place porta pottie store 5 peoples worth of stuff - whereas we think the ease of the fc will help - but we shall see - I think we would have carried on with the tt - but the fc will give us that bit of extra luxury we want without the er - confindness of a caravan! etc

Hi Kazaboobers

Almost the same ages as me.  Well, it will be next month!  I think this year will be a very good test for me to see what I'm going to do in the near future.  We are off to Wales in the summer, but I would like to try a nearby trip before that!

Our first trip was a mere six miles. It was great to be able to get there early with no worry about travelling. We spent all day "playing" and loading the stuff in with out having to take clothes food etc. We came home to get other things and change things around. Ihad a great weekend. When we went off the first time we were secure in the knowledge that everything worked and we could actually put the damn thing up.
