Long shot, but thought I'd try here anyway.
Last year we had a tyre blow out on our old Conway Camargue as we drove home from Portsmouth. Got ourself sorted out with spare tyre etc and got home safely, but in the short space of time between the tyre blowing and us getting onto the hard shoulder a flap of the wire reinforcement on the tyre had battered its way up though the plastic wheel arch cover in the storage box, shattering it. (And a part of this plastic had punctured two cartons of French fish soup too, and I can't begin to describe the mess THAT made, lol.)
Anyway. Hubby is intending to fix the plastic wheel arch cover with fibreglass. plus patch the ply up. It's an old TT and we intend to run it till it reaches its last campsite, so looks are no great priority, just functional. But there's no doubt that it would be considerably easier to repair if we had a spare plastic wheel arch cover. Know the one I mean? The grey piece that sits over the wheel inside the storage box.
Sooo...just on the offchance, does anyone have one? I've emailed TVS and am in the process of chasing round a few Ebay sellers who break old trailer tents and who I've got spares from in the past. I'd even consider buying an old Conway for spares if it was cheap enough and close enough to get to. (We're near Edinburgh.)
Any advice or other suggestions most welcome.
