HELP Hi, I have recently bought an old 1980s combi camp. When I have tried to put the awning up on it I think that there may be some poles missing but not sure if Im doing it right as no instruction and am new to camping! It is the type that opens out sideways. Can anyone out there please tell me how many poles I should have, shapes & sizes etc & maybe try & explain the method of fittting them together! Also if there are any missing then if you know anywhere to get replacements. I seem to have all the corner ones it seems. Please if anyone can help I would be very grateful indeed.

Off the top of my head (Can't look 'cos it's packed away) there are:

3 very short poles which hold out the canopy, they have knobs on one end.

3 uprights which I think are two or three piece - have knobs on one end

3 roof poles which again I think are 2 or 3 piece - have hooks on one end

2 corner poles which have an extra piece to reach the centre pole

1 centre pole - it has the T piece on

It's something like that, anyway. If you go on the Combi Campers - owners forum - others may be more helpful
