Okay am embarrassed to say this but we have a bent pole. Yes the one they tell you about when they give you the demonstration from when th pole hits the kitchen unit. (not our fault honest but pa in laws - long story)

Anyway has anyone else had this happen and if so can you tell me a) do you have to take the TT into camperlands to have it sorted or can you get the part from Camperlands and do it yourself. If b option how easy is it - I am useless but a control freak so not happy about hubby attempting to do it lol

hey Kate, why dont you just ring Mark at camperlands, and ask him

we pick our new camplet up next week, so will look out for this problem

Don't be embarressed, we/I did the same at the end of last year, But luckily is still working ok,OH is welder so will be fixing sometime.

It is one of those things, allocated the job of moving section back to our daughter, on the time of doing she wasn't with us and both assumed the other had done! the air was rather fragrant.. But will not forget again,,

We love our lettie, we collected her from Camperlands Jan 07 - Check with them as they must have a lot of calls about this - Good luck and enjoy your new toys

oops sent before I was ready. not confident as only had one weekend away before the bent bit happened and i wasn't brave enough to go away with it bent. I can't wait to get away.

Thanks everyone am not brave enough to use it without repairing it. Don't trust hubby to do it but Pa in law should be okay

bobandsuzzi thank you for your rather personal remarks on the state of my marriage.

As I said I am a control freak and the first to admit I have it as a very bad fault in my character but he would be a close second to say that he wouldn't know where to start. I also do not write anything about him that he doesn't see as he reads every post that I have written.

 I come on here for advice about camping not about my marriage  (which happens to be very happy and to a wonderful person who knows I think of him highly).

As I know from other forums I belong to posts cannot tell the tone of a message (and mine are tongue in cheek) I shan't bother posting here anymore on camping issues I will try and find another forum somewhere they will answer my questions and not question my relationship.

A shame as I enjoy it on here.

Don't ever leave this site! I always read your posts because I am hoping to get a camplet and I am looking forward to hearing all about your adventures this year.

We bought a tent in Sept 2006, but then suddenly aquired a huge poodle. Joe was 3 when we got him and very anxious and badly behaved. He is much better now but still has his moments and we are very nervous about taking him on holiday.

 We first saw the camplet at the Manchester Motorhome Show in Jan and then went to Camperlands show in Feb. I woud have bought one then but OH wants to test out the camping with the tent this year before we make such a big investment.

So as you see I shall be hanging on your every word.

it seems that we will never get away but if its not one think its another stopping us getting to camperlands for the pole replacement. We ended up ringing them and they are mail ordering it for us - two hour drive for us to get there otherwise.

We lost my Dad in February and we seem to spend every spare moment with mum so am looking forward to getting a break in the tent.
