Anyone know of any campsites that take tents in or Nr Blackpool.

Hi have you tried searching using 'Campsite Search' on here, very easy to use.  I have never been to Blackpool but if I needed to my first search would be on here using the link above, good info, reviews and links to their websites.

Have not been to any of them (Blackpool is not my kind of place) - just searched on the campsite search facility and they were the ones allowing tents..

Hi, I live in Fleetwood near Blackpool and although I haven't really looked round any sites, I get the feeling most of them are tourers only. However I would recommend looking around Lytham / St. Annes (about 10 mins outside Blackpool).

I think there's one called Oaklands that looks ok. But thats slightly further out.

Also, on my way out of Fleetwood there's a place called 'Farmer Parrs' which is an open farm that's good for the kiddies. They sometimes have tents and tourers in one of their fields so it might be worth giving them a call, but I would guess they have no real facilities.
