Folding camper or Trailer tent. Our tt will sleep 6 easily. I have seen 2 different sorts folding camper on my travels, some seem to have awnings that enclose the whole width including wings meaning I assume you can have under bed tents. My friend however has (I think a Conway) and the awning is on the main body and the bed wings stick out meaning under beds would not be in the awning. I hope that makes sense!!
our pennine sterling 2007. has a full width awning and under bed tents can be fitted. We have just put a normal 2 person inner tent in the anwing when required as you can get one of these of £15.00
We had an underbed tent in our old cabanon trailer tent but it always felt a bit exposed so we just used it for storage.
I would also worry if our daughter was underneath and we were on top.(more of a teenager thing i guess)
We could sleep 10 in our Conway Corniche when we had it, and still room in the large awning. But the amount of pegging put paid to use using it hence the Dandy or should I say Dandies.
A Pennine Aztec will take underbed tents as it has bed support legs that go straight down to the floor (same as the Fiesta) The Pathfinder, Stirling, and Pullman supports attach to the 'A' frame and a pull out bar at angles therefore making the space under the beds only really suitable for storage.
Yes I sold them the Dandy Designer I bought over the Easter, and I am going up tomorrow to fit 240/12v free of labour cost, thats how I do all my work, I just like helping out other owner where I can, especially those who do not have a lot of cash and also an older unit.
Would almost say, shame you don't live closer! Going to have fun with mine doing it up but I know I'm not mechanically or electrically minded - still the hook up lead I have works fine.
