Can anyone help - want to get some strip lighting, have found a few sites selling them but they seem to have 'fitted crocodile clips', we have 2 pin sockets in our tt.

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not aware of any lights with pre-fitted 2-pin plugs. I think you'll need to but the plugs separately and fit them to the lamps instead of the croc clips.

We have a Trigano with 2 pin 12volt electric sockets and we have not seen anything that fits them either.

As Peridot said, replace the clips with a plug.  you can get them from Towsure etc.  Just make sure you get the polarity right otherwise the fluroescent light will not work, ie if it dosn't light up first time, swap the wires round.

I also use 12v flo's to light up the main living area and kitchen, have one in the bedroom compartment and a smaller one in the john, tho I power mine either from mains if we have a hookup using a 240v/12v adaptor and have the equivalent to cigarrette light plugs on the end on the lights, think they call them 12v auxilliary plugs now.

If camping without mains I normally take a smallish rechargeable battery pack which last about 4 days,

Andy

There are two types of 12v two pin plug the older with two pints that slope toward each other are available but sometimes difficult to source. Unfortunately I'm not in Perthshire or i could tell you of two retailers that have them
