I got one from The Book People who come into work once a month. It was £4.99. I plan to use it to reach the far side of my roofbox. I'll still need another body to help me put the roof box on though.

We bought one of these and it was a branded name. Be careful ours broke when being used. Quite lucky really foot went straight through, plastic breaks with very large sharp pointed edges and could have easily sliced through the leg. Yes the step was being used correctly, was new and by an average sized person, so what is the safe load of these steps?
We will not be buying a replacement!!!!

Weve had one from lakeland a few years and it's great, strong and sturdy cant remember how much we paid, but over £15 now i'm sure. It's got rubber type strips on the step and it's got a Max of 150Kgs, think you'd need a big hammer to it to bust it lol
