Just picked up myself a Sunncamp 400SE from ebay.  The trailer electrics are all working ok.

I have double electrics on my car so want to add additional electric to the trailer that will charge a battery when on route.

I#m looking at running a 12v fridge and some 12v light from the battery.

If anyone could help me with a electical diagram or a guide of sorts I would be very greatful.

cheers

Mark

Hi Mark.

I think this should help you out. But you do need a littlte skill with wiring as this is not the easiest job. The second diagramme is what you want.

If you have any problems please get back to me.

Do not forget Mark that 12v fridges have heavy loadings and can flatten a battery very quickly.

I didn't know that 12v fridges have heavy loadings....is there something else on the market that would be more sutable?

yes - a 3 way fridge. It will work on mains at home or on site with an EHU, gas for non EHU sites and 12v while you are towing. Quite an expensive bit of kit but well worth it so you can have ice cubes in your Baileys/ G&T/ orange juice!!
