Got fed up of waiting so going this weekend regardless!  The local forecast is for rain Saturday and Sunday morning then cloudy by lunchtime so still hoping to get the canvas dry - at least we have a large driveway to put it up again if it's still wet!

i woul dbe quite happy to spend a week away in the rain  (probably will do as away for the week of hte First May BH) just need enough good weather to open the Camplet  up to fix the bent pole and check it is all right.

Had hoped to get it sorted before now but weatehr has not permitted and I am so scared we open it up and their is mould everywhere (shouldn't be as it was dry when put away but has been stood outdside all winter so keep fingers crossed

I'm itching to get away in our 'new' (to us anyway) Jamet TT. We were hoping to untold it and give it a good clean and tidy, but the weather has been pants here in the Northants every weekend, or whenever me and DH have a day or two off work.

Its been stored on our drive all winter, in quite an exposed place, but hoping the exposure will ensure water does not settle and cause any damp problems. So frustrating though. Oh, reminds me, still got to buy EHU, as we will be taking a heater and hopefully portable TV. Never used electric before when camping in our tent, so it will be quite exciting

Well, we went.  And the weather wasn't too bad but we did bring the Camper home slightly wet so have to dry it out today.  But we had a great weekend and established that everything on our "new" fc works.  Also sold our old tt on Sunday evening so, all in all, a very sucessfull weekend!

I too have not been out yet in my (to us anyway new) new TT. We bought a Sunncamp 350 Se in October, have changed the curtains, carpet on floor, cleaned up everything. Now just itching to get out on May Bank Hols. Have used Tent for years but got invited into TT last September whilst at Hope Valley.  That day changed my camping life decided to buy one.  I hope we newbies all enjoy our 1st time and the regulars too.
