Had a long weekend planned at Belvoir castle, setting of today, spent last weekend getting the Dandy packed and ready for the off..came home from work last night and managed to get a hypo (diabetic) sat in the van for a few mins then got out forgetting to put the handbrake on..yes I am a proff driver who does around 2k miles a week!...and yes of course I live on a hill! got my leg trapped under the door and the van dragged me down the road for a fair distance before stopping buried in a nieghbours cars bumper.. left a large amount of skin on the tarmac and dislocated my knee..so wave goodbye to the weekend..as I said ..muppet..wife reckonds I did it on purpose............
sorry to hear about your mishap, we went away wed and thurs but weather wet although we did manage one good walk in the Cotswolds and did not get wet.Hope you are well soon, vans are easier to fix than people.
Thanks for the good thoughts..as George says vans can be repaired but being self employed the time off work plus repairs to my van and nieghbours car well just about scupper our holidays this year...all for the sake of a dextrose tablet..ho hum!
Ouch........... Hope you are feeling better soon and manage to get away.

Get well soon honey and dont forget that in a hypo a dextrose tablet is sometimes not what your brain telly you. As you will know brains in a hypo dont work properly. Will the OH go for that one?
------------- Oh am loving the tin tent after campaining against it..........I was wrong.

------------- if its not broke........dont try to fix it !!! live life & enjoy.......you only get one chance at it.
