Sorry but had to share as no-one else will understand my excitement.

The awful weather has finally changed long enough for us to get the bent pole on the Camplet mended and when we pulled it up to check it was all okay everything was okay with it. Have been worried all winter that it was going to be mouldy or even worse (never having had a TT before). I know we put it away dry but it has sat on the grass in the open all winter and I just wasn't sure.

Just want to thank all of you last year who told me it would be fine you were right.

Have got the mattresses back in now so we just have to get all the equipment sorted at the weekend and boxed up and we will be off the week after to Wales

After the disappoinment of not getting away in it anymore after the trial run last year and not getting away for the two weekends we had planned recently I am so excited.

Hi Kate,

Know what you mean - glad you got the pole sorted - we have left ours, have used  it twice since THE accident - so don't think we will bother.

Won't be long - I have also been like a kid on a journey, waiting for the weather to improve - just wish could go now - is lovely outside, outside work though,,...

Would love to go this weekend, but already booked up with cubs, school etc,,.

I wish i had been brave enough to use ours without getting it mended but I was just too scared as knowing our luck we would have done more damage. I know when i first posted there was a gentleman on here said he had used his without getting it mended.

We have lovely weather and wish we were away but need smust and I have tons of paperwork to do and no money so the paperwork won lol

It's always a great relief when you open your TT up in spring and....nothing but that fabulous smell of dry canvas, lol.
