Thanks for that lisa, I have e-mailed graham at TVS in Bolton, not too far from us.  I like how you make it sound so easy - adapated a light weight porch - is there a specific make that we could look out for if we need to buy the porch to have it adapted?.  Ours is also a 2004 so it shouldn't be a problem for someone who knows what to do.

Husband has just corrected me, the pathfinder would just go in but nothing would come out!!  The racking at the back for his stuff would have to come down, bikes would have to be re-housed, do i need to go on any more about a man and the contents and his garage - without making it a security risk.
