We've just had our first trip out in Cabanon Mercury, We had trouble putting it up, the ground was a little sloped, but we couldn't pull the ground sheet square, and the awning was a liitle saggy, so if anyone knows of any cheats and hints we would really appreciate it THANK YOU !!!!!!!!!!
time will show you the best way to get the best from your tent.
when they are designed and constructed its on a flat surface unfortunately real life doesn't come bowling green flat (unless you pitch on a bowling green which is not recomended).
the fine tuning is the bit that can take time but a sag here or there never hurt anyone and in time they will definitely get less i promise ,ours useually looks ok from the outside but the roof lining gives it away
get the trailer flat using a level both ways then ensure the awning sides are parallel with the trailer and your halfway there.
if its all square a slope should only show by the amount of canvas /plastic left to reach the ground ,this can be adjusted slightly by lowering or heightening the awning frame on that side ,not perfect but better than nothing.
this will show though on the next part of the frame or front but fine tuning between the two should make it less visible.
