Just to give you a little bump....
I think when considering security you should purchase a good quality hitch lock probably something similar to bulldog, there are also other good brands on the market but can't recall them at the minute. It really doesn't pay to spend several hundred or even a few thousand on an outfit and get a tuppence-ha'penny security system, besides I think most insurance companys insist on at least a proprietory lock and in some cases I've actually known them to insist on a particular brand.
Have a chat with your insurance company to see if there are any special requirements, I know for mine that I have to keep a hitchlock and wheel clamp on it all times whilst stationary and detached from the car.
Have a look around and I would expect to pay upwards of £50 for new, you may even be lucky to get hold of a second hand one for a little less, the local paper is normally a good source
