Hi all, picking up our TT next week. A Camplet Concorde. We are coming up from a tent and have loads of questions which I hope you can answer.

What type of covering is required in the living area? Is it the breathable type like for a caravan awning or a solid ground sheet the same for a tent?

Where do do have your gas bottle? Is it kept in the living area next to the pull out, or do you leave it outside?  We dont have a storage box on the A frame.

How many pegs are required for the living area? the site we are visiting next is hard ground and we need enough rock pegs.

What do you use for the stabilising feet? i.e. pad wise, do we need to buy pads what do you all use?

Any hints tips advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Cliff, can't answer all of your questions 'cos we have a different unit to you but...

groundsheet wise campsites usually ask for the breathable type..we use a softex one and it is great.

under our wind down legs and the bed legs we just use blocks of marine ply...we had feet on our old 'van but have never had a problem with the ply with the camper.

Hiya Cliff. We have the breathable type as well, came as part of the deal when buying our Concorde.

When travelling we store the gas bottle in the storage box at the front, and then its next to the pull out kitchen.

No idea how many pegs it takes. OH normally does that, while I'm doing something else.   (That reminds me, keep meaning to get some of those screw in pegs)

We're the same as sueandjohn, we use blocks of wood under the legs.

Yes a breathable ground sheet would be the best. Not sure about pegs, i leave that part to my boyfriend. The gas bottles we dont have a front box for but when we brought our  fc it had a place with screws at the front where they were screwed to and the people that had it before us had fitted it. A great little idea and they are perfectly safe. We travel with them there. We did buy some feet for our wind downs but they didnt fit so weve got 4 blocks of wood about 3cm high and about 5-6 inch square that we just pop underneath. Hope this helps. Maddy
