Hi all

I had a quick look through the search facility at insurance posts and whilst they all offered good advice, I didn't get the info I'd like some help with.

How do you value a folding camper - mine is a '96 Countryman in good condition with awning - and all its accessories? Is there anyone out there with something similar that could let me know what value they put on theirs? I need to get mine insured but I need an idea of values first!

We had a very good condition countryman with full awning that we had insured for 3k ours was a '95 although a little used one.

You could look around for any similar for sale (loads on the net) thats what I do to get an idea of prices

That's what you have to base it on!

Insurance is about "putting you back in the situation you were in if the event hadn't happened".

If you have an old camper, then your insurance should be for you to buy - at market rates - a replacement of similar age & quality.
