I have read with interest the many and varied directions as to how one should proof a TT and would like to ask from those members that have used a roller
what kind of roller are you using is it best to use foam or furry
also is it better to fully erect the TT and use it on a brush handle another thing no-one actually recommemds a roller size ie standard 9" 6" or a 4" radiator type all replies would be appreciated
last time I did our conway with a brush 6"
but the sunncamp 250 is slightly larger and would like to do it without the brush also spraying it seems to be out of the ? as children on the loose and pets not to mention the plants
another thing as I intend to use thompsons what is the advise for covering up the windows to stop staining
thanking you all for any replies
I used a foam radiator roller attached to a broom handle with cable ties. I tried to be careful with the windows & had materials - damp cloths & kitchen roll - at hand to wipe any drips away.
I used a small garden spray. much quicker than a brush or roller, and it doesn't threaten the survival of children, pets or plant life unless you do it on a very windy day. Like Mountain Runnre, I kept a damp cloth handy for making sure any overspray on to the windows was cleaned up promptly. I used Travis Perkins Water Seal as we don't have a B&Q here and I couldn't find anywhere that stocked Thomsons.

If you can't see the light at the end of the tunnel, just keep going till you go round the bend.
I recently did mine, but with Fabsil, i used a brush for the upright walls and a fluffy roller of 9 inch for the roof with a type of broom handle extension pole. Did the business no problem, expect to use tons of Fabsil though as it soaks right in and the canvas seems to eat the stuff for breakfast lol.....5 litres it took
well its been one of those days but finally after fighting the wind and threatening rain we finally got it down used a 6" brush it had never been done before and fair soaked in used almost 3 gallons
what an experience especially doing the awning .
however worked it out that if you drop one side of the awning unzipping it so that it hangs down from the centre its possible to do it without too much bother .We also dropped one side at a time with the cabin which seemed to work well ,except it was rather windy here today ,the neighbours haven't been that bad in fact one even got me a couple of cans of stella just to see if the mix of fumes and beer would make for more comedy Have managed to aquire waterproofing to my hair and the baldy bit hoping that it makes some hair grow .
