"We" have lost an end from one of the curtain poles. It came off when he took it down and despite taking the kitchen almost to bits and faffing around behind the settee I can't find it. We improvised with an elastic band to stop the curtain falling off when the rail moved but has anyone found something which fits on the end? I am considering nicking one from the awning curatins and pretending I found it just to stop him whinging on about it. Every biro and felt tip we own has been examined to see if it would fit and he is driving me mad.

I lost one of ours for two trips before it magically reappeared. They are now superglued on so that they cant escape again.
I think the awning ones are a different size and shape so it might be noticed if you tried that.

Jan, We have wrapped black insulation tape around the end until it becomes quite thick, needs must while we were away and does the job.
