Hi just wondering how other cabanon owners manage with the mattresses? We found our very very uncomfortable/thin.  Its only 2yrs old so isn't worn out or anything.  I think ok for the kids weight but I need something extra.  Has anyone replaced theirs? are they a double or king do you think?  I need to sort this before we go away for 2 weeks int he summer............. can't have aches and pains for the whole time.  have heard of mattress toppers, are they ay good? and what thickness is recommended and does it have to be memory foam???????? don't want to be spending loads.

After one aching night in ours we went to TJ Hughes and got a £65 king-size Slumberland memory foam topper. Result - bliss. It is worth every penny for a decent nights sleep.

I recently purchased two self inflating mats from the Aldi sale which I intend using under the mattress in my suncamp.
Total cost less than £20. Alternatively, how about using a duvet underneath and held together with a fitted sheet.

We got 2 queen size inflatable mattresses from Asda for £8 each. They fit perfectly (one of you ends up falling down the side with a double!). We just let them down and leave them on top of the mattresses when we pack it away.

The mattresses in my Comanche Montana are too firm.   I have athritic hip joints which cause considerable discomfort at night.   I presently use an airbed on top of the mattress but would prefer a solution which would give me a bigger area on which to sleep.  Anyone found, tested and can recomend a solution?
