Hi All,

any Pennine Sterling 510 owners out there ? There must be !

Ours is a 2nd hand 2005 model(blue rather than the brown canvas) - in fantastic condition. One thing -  it didn't come with is a manual (£12 for Pennine - which I think is a bit steep - considering lots of companies allow you to download the manuals for free).  Came with awning and sideskirts and winter cover. Was a steal off Fleabay.

Anyhows - not used it yet, but put it up on the drive over the (blustery!) weekend.

Very easy to erect. Which is just as well 'cos we're going to the French Alps with it this weekend for 3 weeks !

Couple of quick Q's.

How do I charge the lesuire battery ?

Spare bulbs - where from ? Are they std caravan type bulbs ?

Any other tips from Pennine Sterling owners gratefully received

If you are going a long way for 3 weeks with this unit, dont you think it would be a good investment to pay for a service manual?

Otherwise you may find yourselves unable to use any of the equipment, lights or even change a tyre. For example, you dont even know the correct tyre pressures.

Hi - thanks for replies

Already ascertained the tyre pressures - 32(unladen) 35 laden.

I'm going to contact who I bught it from to see if they still have the manual.

My father-in-law is coming with us, an he used to have a similar type unit.
