We have a Conway Tardis and in the near future we will need a new back canvas panel, (2 widows) can anyone advise where to go for it????????

Can anyone also advise me what the white plug (socket) attached to the Tardis is for? I have the facility to attach this to my towbar but not sure what this will do??????. I use the black plug (socket) to run my lights when towing.

Thanks

Pat

Tent Valeting Services hold all the old Conway stock of spare bits and canvas, and can basically make anything if they don't have it on the shelves.

As to the other socket, won't it be for running a fridge or charging a leisure battery while towing?

As Val says, TVS can sort out the canvas problem for you, and the white socket runs the fridge when towing and charges the leisure battery. I used to have a Cardinal which is very similar to the Tardis.

Thanks for your help. We don't have a built in fridge but do use an electric cooler box which can be used on 12v, we'll give it a try

No, that won't work. The wiring is direct to the inbuilt fridge and the battery. I don't know if the 12v sockets would work at the same time. The coolbox would be better plugged in in the car.

Not sure where you are but theres a canvas works (or worx) in bassett down, near to Swindon.  I had my back panel windows replaced and new velco and turnbuckles or £180 2 yrs ago.  They did a top job too.

A bit far for us we're in the north west, Tent Valeting is a lot nearer. Thanks for replying
