Conway and Pennine seem to be the same thing this year - how long before the Conway brand name vanishes all together? When (and in my opinion not if) it happens, it will be a real shame. Conway sliding beds are the bizzo, plus their colour schemes lok much nicer to me.... But then i love Conways lol

Hello all

We have a Raclet flores 230 with intermediate awning and sun canopy with both side panels.  We have taken it down to the Southe of France for the last twl holiday (got back on friday last week) and it was fab.  With the additional sun awning it doesn't require all panels to be out for shade and freah air and this year the temprature was in the mid 30's the whole time.

Most of the time when we are in hot weather we cook outside anyway with a large glass of wine and only go in the main awning area when it gets dark.

A good tip to keep the flies and midges out we think, is to use a 70's fringed plastic back door fly screen it keeps most of them out when all the doors are open.

Would still like to meek fellow trailer tenters :)

We would love to hear from fellow campers or even meet up :)

We had a Cabanon Athena tent  and loved it to bits, having had no problems with it.  Had no trouble selling it as friends had already seen it and liked the quality.

We now have a Cabanon Jupiter DL tt and we are just as thrilled with it.  Masses of space, warm no problems with leaks etc.  Last year, had about 12 people in it enjoying ourselves.

Would recommend Cabanon - we lost instructions for our Athena, contacted the French base and they sent out the instructions by return of post.

We have a stratos too and love it. This year when moving sites in the middle of our holiday DD suggested leaving the groundsheet attached to the awning, which we did. It was so easy. Don't think I would do it normally as the whole bit took some folding, but was really easy to put up and was Ok as was taken down and put up within 12 hours, and saved so much time, especially as we didn't arrive at our second site until 6pm having travelled from the Rhone Alps to the Dordogne.

We have a Conway trailer with the Cabanon Saturn canvas.
We used it for the first time this year whilst in Brittany and we loved it. Easy to put up and take down, beds were large and comfy, kitchen was great... can't say enough about it .
We got it 2nd hand by a man that buys tt and then does them up himself, he knows everything about tt, the prices are good and he guarantees them for 12 months.
The website is www.cheshireleisure.co.uk .
He has an noutdoor show room and can tell you everything you need to know.
Just looked at the website and there are 2 Cabanon tt listed, 1 Conway and a Cabanon folding camper.

Good luck.....

Lindsay x
