Have just bought a TT for the first time and wondered if anyone can recommend a good insurance company, and also what sort of things we have to make sure we're insured for please? Thanks
We just insured ours recently - Caravan Guard were the cheapest and they all seemed to offer the same sort of cover. We were £96/year. It'll depend on where it's getting stored and the security you use. We insured it for the value of the tt and we put a figure on the contents if we had to replace them.
We insure our cabanon with insurance for trailer tents(01934 424040). They are really helpfull and friendly and quoted us 83.50 for £3500 worth of cover which is new for old for the first three years of the trailers life.It covers everything you need.
------------- Nothing matters half as much as you think it does!
We used Caravan Guard last year. £97 for year for £4300 cover of TT and equipment. New for Old. It will be up for renewal in August. Think I'll start getting some quotes.

We insured with caravan guard last year in August £5.67 a month around £2700.00, been camping 20 years and never insured til then. Why then one may ask ? Someone watching over us? but we are sure glad we did as we were blown to bits May bank holiday in Devon, thankfully caravan guard paid out new for old in a matter of weeks and we now have a little beauty, looking forward to our first trip in her 26 july to Anglesey, not sure where yet!! Need to take the dog and that will be a first too!!
