Hi Nelly - This is freaky. We have just bought a Pennine Sterling and have exactly the same problem. (No battery leads to connect inside) We are trying to contact the sellers as they told us they removed the Leisure Battery from the trailer for their caravan. If I find out where the Battery housing is, I will let you know on this posting.

On our old Sterling, 2006 model, there was a 'locker' round the back where the battery sat, and also housed the EHU connection

Hope that is of help to you?

nelly, On 2000 sterlings the battery is often located under the left hand seat locker (looking towards front), wendy regarding fridge door there is a button on the catch at top of door, this is a safety catch to lock the door in transit, if you press the green button it should release the catch.
