I have just got conway camargue trailer tent(no instructions) have figured out erection of main bit with bedrooms on,but when it comes to putting awning bit on ,do i put up metal frame up first or do i zip awning on to main trailer & bedroom part first,then put awning poles up!!any help would be appreciated-also has like small extension awning !!

With our Sunncamp and Raclet, (trailer tents) Richard used to put the metal part up first and then put the canvas over it, the same was as you would with a frame tent, and then he zipped it onto the trailer part.

There are various options, which boil down to three ways:

1) zip on canvas, erect poles underneath it (difficult and prone to damage)

2) zip on canvas, fold back over the cabin, erect awning frame to 1/2 up position, fold canvas back over frame (easiest method when by yourself, more time consuming than option 3)

3) 1/2 erect frame, pull up canvas and zip on, fully erect frame (not so good if you are short).
