hi all,
still a bit green with a tt i have trouble at the moment with the jockey wheel when i wind it out fully to gain height at the front to hitch up or move it nearly collapses, is this just a case of sliding the outer tube further down through the clamp? is there a set position or does it vary from unit to unit or is the wheel faulty

Just lower it on the clamp there is no set position same on a caravan

thanks for reply kenles,we bought the tt 2nd hand nr the end of last summer haven't used it much since but this was only prob i found with it.off in 3wks for tour round devon and just been checking things through after it being stored over winter and remembered about the jockey wheel,been more used to tent + small trailer (no jockey wheel) obviously it's other owner had it set for his motor doh must lay off the cider cheers

when you tow make sure you wind the wheel up tight so it can't turn otherwise it can unwind and fall out.
ours did that in the mile from where it was bought to home ,despite going straight back along the same road to this day its not been spotted
