Hi,
Having recently discovered that I could save loads of time by leaving in the bedroom curtains and liners, I am keen to see if I can leave up the ceiling liner and camper curtains. I get the impression from the Conway site and previous posts that it's more ok in some campers than others. Ours is a 96/97 Cruiser. The curtains are attached with plastic clips onto a plastic strip. Some have suggested leaving the ceiling liner attached in the middle and then clipping the 2 sides into the middle as well. It would be brill to simply leave it all up though. Any ideas out there?

Hi we have a pathfinder and I leave the roof liner on unclipping the corners, but take the curtains down that are on curtain rods and lie them flat on top of the seats ready for easy put up! Hope this helps
all the inners in our sterling have always been left in place - never thought of doing it any different. the curtains in the main body of the trailer that are supposed to be hung on rods, we have hung on net curtain wire wrapped round the poles, so now the curtains are left hanging too

We have a Pathfinder. Curtains stay on in bedroom, and living area curtains are taken down and laid flat on bench seat. The roof lining is constantly attached and doesn't appear to have suffered any ill effects.
just got my pathfinder put it up at the weekend and folded it down with the roof liner and bedroom inners still attached no problem.
the only thing i would say is i had a pennine fiesta when i took them down once to fold up i noticed condensation on the roof so i would make sure it is dry before folding.
Also i would not leave them in when camper is laid up for winter i am going to remove the inners curtains etc and take home.

I had a Cruiser years ago (it was actually a 1984 model - one of the first out of the factory) - I always left the headlining clipped to the centre pole, but unclipped it all round so it just hung - just watch it doesn't get caught in the poles as it all folds down. It only took a couple of minutes to clip it back up when pitching - much easier than starting from scratch every time. Can't remember what I did with the curtains, but I have a feeling they may have been on velcro rather than poles or wires, so weren't an issue!
I went away in my 1995 Conway Cruiser for the first time last weekend. HOORAY!
I left my roof lining and curtains up when last folded the camper away on the drive. I just unhooked the 4 corner clips that connect to the verticle poles, and moved the lining slightly into the middle (not fully).
As for the curtains, i left them up to. They were a little creased when i opened the camper, but the creases soon dropped out. The only problem is to try to check that the side window curtains do not get caught in the poles. It might be advisable to remove those in future!

------------- Happy Camping.
Next Outing:
Leek - June 10
Anywhere I can when i can - July + August 10.
Tenby - September 10
We only remove the curtains ,roof liners etc over Winter ,like most people we just unclip the four corners of roof liner and just take down curtains before folding unit.
We leave the bedroom curtains up & the roof liner but we do take down the living room curtains (on rods) and lay flat on the seats. We don't unclip any of the roof liner - never have done & it's always been just fine, no problems folding.
We do take all the linings & curtains out before putting into winter storage. We give them all a cool wash & then they live at the back of the airing cupboard until Spring.
Now I'm just trying to figure out how to leave the awning up too

Thanks for all your answers. Next time we put the beloved camper away, I will try leaving it all up (apart from unclipping the 4 corners on the roof liner). It will be great to save a little time getting everything sorted.
