Have just bought TT and as my French isn't too hot I am having trouble with the instructions.
As far as I can tell the frame just pushes up and then just locks into place with the sprung pins one on each end.
However the top still seems to sag, I think that it should be okay once the tent is pegged down and the guy ropes tightened.
I don't have room on my drive to put it up properly so I was wondering if anyone can help as I would like to know before I go away next week.
Also I have seen a video posted by a Raclet owner which shows how to put them up, does anyone know where this is posted as I can't remeber where I saw it.

Thanks

That's right, it just locks into place.

Some newer Flores models have an adjustable bit on one of the poles (the one which goes diagonally over the bed), which you could try tightening. However, it still requires pegging out to attain full taughtness.

If the roof is still saggy, try simulating pegging out by having one person on each side pulling down gently on the canvas; this should tell you if pegging out will solve it.

You will find two things on my site which might help; in the 'instructions' bit there are some generic instructions en Anglais, and there is also a set of photos of me putting up my Type 603 which is effectively the same thing.

Good luck!

Charlie
