exactly what it says in the title, anyone know how long it'll take to put one of these up? New to tt's and so don't really know any of the basics yet.

My partner will be putting it up and he's fairly tall and strong, so guessing thats a good start, and I can do some helping, although I am short and have a joints condition so sometimes wont be as much use as when I'm not so bad. Also occasionally we'll have his 2 kids with us. How long will it take for us to put it up? We wont be taking loads of stuff with us as we'll only be going for weekends at a time as I can't get any time off work, so I want to make sure it will be worthwhile.

Thanks

Tammy

we have the herald model (renamed to jade) and it's usually a couple of hours, start to sitting with a mug of coffee.
if you don't have the awning extension then slightly less

We had a Raclet Jade untill we changed it last year, we found the main bedroom section was easy to put up and only took a short while, but the awning is large on this model and has lots curtains and large inner roof linner that also has different sections such as kitchen and toilet, and this may take a while untill you get the hang of it.

The only other problem we had was zipping the awning to the main section, as it is a double zip from the top of the awning, you will understand when you put it up.

I hope you enjoy your tt and if no one told you so yet, then I would suggest you purchase an awning storm strap

Happy camping

agree that the zips can be a pain in the ar5e.
roof linings are a doddle - but once you are up you'll love it.

us and our inlaws each have a herald with the extra awning and we were camped side by side at delamont, ireland and the amount of interest they created was huge.
