going by the spiel it will only charge up to a 75aH battery no doupt less if its being used at the same time at c 3.5 amps output it will take some time!
Just googled your CTEKxs3600 battery charger. At 3.6 amps output hardly seems worth it. It would take ages to charge your leisure battery ,if you bought it specially to charge a leisure battery, take it back and get one with a more substantial output.

Sorry but you don't know what your talking about, these are one of the best chargers around. If you value your battery you don't always use a fast charge (12amps) you use a trickle charge (3amps). These CTEK units are intelegent multi-stage chargers which charge and condition batteries and are so good they can be left on a battery for months at a time because as soon as the battery is at full charge they discharge the battery and re-charge it - ideal for leisure batteries in fact.

Good Bye To Our Abbey Spectrum 520, Hello To Our Elddis Crusader Cyclone
Sorry i stand corrected. I use an ordinary cheap (£6.99) 6 amp charger and use a timing switch with it. To charge both of my 110 Ah batteries when they are about 50% charged it takes me 8 hours each as I do not use EHU I have had one battery 3 years and the other nearly 5 and i don't see any diferance in them, they both hold their charge OK. .

The instructions for our CTEC 3600 state that it will put out a steady 7 amps at the 13.6 V setting which is safe for all appliances (apart from LCD tv's) even if there is no battery connected. If you use more amps than this then the voltage is reduced.
This is a state of the art charger. The instructions are available on line if you google for the charger.
if you read the spiel it charges up to a 75ah battery (strange number) and reconditions up to a 120ah battery.
reconditioning doesn't mean it discharges a battery then recharges it (thats for nicads) it means it uses high frequency to "knock" the salts off the plates making them more efficient.
using hi amps to charge a leisure battery does little harm !overcharging does especially on a battery that's plates are coated or have shorts.
leisure batteries are designed to take a little abuse as pretty crude chargers are fitted in caravans and motorhomes as a rule
leaving it on the charger long term means the charger monitors the voltage and if it drops puts a little boost in to keep it topped up rather than continual trickle charging which isn't so good
