Hi there

We have recently brought a 2004 Penine Sterling with awning and awning extension. However there are no instructions as to how to put the awning up!

Is it straightforward to put up? Any tips, advice or instructions from useers would be much appreciated.

I have phoned Penine but got an ansaphone and no-one has got back to me yet. Can't see any downloadable instructions on their site.

Many thanks,

PT

Hi

I have had the fiesta and now the pathfinder must be all nearly the same the best way i found was to lay the poles out on the ground where they should be zip on the awning canvas having removed all the panels this makes it lighter then build the frame inside i found this to be easiest but im sure someone else willl come along with better instructions

hope this is a bit of use

i find it easiest to hang the roof poles on the camper, then as you say, lay out the rest of the poles then zip on the awning.

to answer to orginal question, the instructions we had with ours were really not all that clear at all - infact we 'messed' it up big time the first time we put the awning up, but we only knew that after speaking to another sterling owner on the same site.  so glad we did or we would have damaged the campers canvas within a few weeks of owning it!

Hi all. Sorry for the delay in replying but we went on hols 2 days after posting!

We had a lovely time with great weather firstly in Jungfrau, then even better at Lake Mergozzo!

We managed to get the awning up with the help of some friendly Germans, who were absolutely insistent at getting the canvas precisely aligned with the poles!

Lisa I have saved the picture you posted and will print it out thanks.

Dean I tried to mail you but for some reason it keeps bouncing back.

Many thanks again for all of your help.

Regards,

Pete
