We are off to York this weekend and would like to know if there are any good camping shops in the area, just in case.

there is yeomans, millets, blacks. probably argos. just type camping supplies in york into google search there is even a map of where they are

Blacks have a big store at Monks Cross retail park, and a smaller store in the city centre.

there is a caravaning shop on A64 near Flaxton as well which may have some supplies
