Hi

you are in a catch 22 situation i would not reproof until i had found out if it leaks as once you start you have to keep it up as the stuff you use takes away the canvases natural ability to repel water. Conway are good canvases and it can last years and years before it needs waterproofing have you room to put it up and see what happens we do seem to be having a lot  of rain lately you could try it out in i wouldnt leave it till you go away though it could be miserable in a leaking tent

Thanks for that info should have loads a room as we have not got an awning to store also how are these units in the wind do i need to consider buying a awning tie down kit
