Hi I am about to trade in my 1996 pullman 535 SE for a 2003 pullman 535. The new one is being offered for sale at £5495 the trade I'm being offered for my old one is 7 -8 hundred ( they haven't seen it yet). It has an awning 12v and 240v and a safe fitted. The cabin exterior and interior is in excellent codition but the canvas is a bit grubby in places and may need replacing soon. Are these prices reasonable? I would appreciate any advice, Cheers,
the trade in might be about right , the one you are purchasing is £2000 over priced ,, but you are dealing with a dealer who has to make a living buying and selling , if it was me , i would put the 96 pullman on ebay with a starting price of £500 and see where it goes , then you are a cash buyer with no part ex and you are in a great position to get a bargain , more so at this time of year, one tip avoid dealers if you want a bargain and extras thrown in , if you look about and haggle you should get a really good 2002/2003 pullman for £3500
I think you are definately paying way of the odds, we got a 2005 pullman a couple of years ago on ebay for £6000, if you take your time and are prepared to travel a little you can get some bargains on ebay. It took us over 6 months to find ours but it was worth it.
