Hi the pole in question is cranked at the top with a plastic clip which clips to the top rail ok with this but there is a small branch about 18 inches long with a pin on the end like the ones which hold the end of the awning out but there is nowhere on the wardrobe for this pin thanks
Sorry keith but from what you say it would appear that you have actually purchased a house. We do have a thing that you could call a wardrobe but its just a small canvas room thats part of the awning lining. Is that what we are talking about?
in our larder thing we have a hole in the top of the material that the pole with the white hook on the end goes through .The other end of the pole is positioned on the floor of the larder.
We don't bother using any pole with it. We actually use ours as a toilet. It is just part of the roof lining and just clips on. It does take some practice to get it right and even when we have left it between camping trips we sometimes struggle to remember how best to make it sit. As I said we just clip it on and then when it looks okish then we peg it down then at the back. It is actually quite an annoying design we find.
We use the pole as a coathanger to hang our dressing gowns. The larder area is joined into the roof lining but easy to work out when you get the hang of it. Inside the larder area we have our fridge - well it is really a wine cooler!
Its not a larder in the oceane its a wardrobe and the pole is a clothes hanger.
We actually redesigned our oceane and removed it as it was more of a space user than we needed, who takes clothes that need hanging on holiday anyway, well not us.
We kept the platic hand down bit with pockets but turned it against the canvas to keep some cooking essentials in. We now have a lot more space.
Some use the space as as toilet but we decided on a toilet tent, we did not fancy the idea of sitting on a toilet next to the cooker, just not right.
