  We store our trigano on a lock up area thats in the open and gets every kind of weather that lancashire can throw at it.As far as rodents are concerned we just make sure that we leave no food or crumbs in the kitchen or TT before we put it in storage.We then put a biscuit tin under the plastic cover so the water doesnt pool.We dont have it insured so cant advise on your other question.P.S do make sure that the biscuit tin is empty before you tuck it under the cover..

You won't find any insurance be it for a static caravan, tourer, folding camper or trailer tent that covers rodent damage.  As previously stated just make sure you get any crumb of food out, give it a good clean and secure the cover as best you can. We are leaving our folding camper out all winter and have bought a huge tarp to wrap it up in. I am hoping it will survive ok.  If we had more space we would bring what we could inside the house but we don't so fingers crossed.

We have a chantilly that is stored outside. We take the canvas off & the inners & mattresses. This is easy to do -takes about 20 minutes- & gives us peace of mind. The rest sits with a parasol base under its ordinary cover & we have had no problems,

Very easy,ours is just big 'press studs' in the corners. It was made in 2005 but I presume they are all similar,
