Hi Silverdales, I am no expert (understatement !   )  but from what you say you haven't been to look at the camper as yet. I would say this is the first thing you need to do. You can tell a lot by feeling the canvas and smelling it (for damp) ,also of course, check the trailer is sound. Trigano's seem to be popular and still sell well on ebay etc. If the missing liner is the worst of the problems, well you can replace these quite easily. If you cannot find a second hand one then try Graham at Tent Valeting Services, if he hasn't got one in stock he will make one for you. Just don't be rushed into buying - there will be another bargain along eventually

Well I've got a Trigano TT too, and have to admit that putting up the awning is a bit of a job.  But then TT's are a different kettle of fish to FC's.  You are very dependent on the awning for living space in a TT, whereas in a FC it is an extension.  Plus I have 3 very small children to contend with everytime it goes up!

With regards to Trigano in general - I can only comment as an owner of one unit.  We haven't had any problems at all, apparently it is good quality canvas [appears true in my experience], poles are strong compared to some budget models.  We had some horrendoes weather on our Wales trip, but as soon as we were zipped in that trailer we were in a different world!  There were some caravan awnings around us that didn't stand up to the wind and rain.  I'm actually going to miss mine when it goes in the New Year.

I had a Trigano TT late 70s, if it's got a metal hard top with a luggage rack that converts to the legs, and you flip the hard top over, which is the second double bed, then it's very easy to put up.
