Hi, I have a Raclet Solena and am trying to locate somewhere that will sell the brackets to store the TT on its side (preferably with wheels). I have tried to email the UK distributors in Berkshire to ask for a list of agents in the south of England but the email bounces. Can anybody suggest where I can buy theese or how to find out the agents? Raclet.fr only list the main distributor.

You will probably have to deal through either France or their main distributor. I had to go that route for a spare wheel for my Raclet.

Many thanks Lobey for that. I rather guessed this might be the case. I was hoping I might have been able to look at one. The email to the main UK distributor is returning undelivered so I will have to try to give them a ring.

I had them on my Raclet and any blacksmith would have been able to make up a set for you.

They were basically two square tubes lying parallel to each other their length being the height of the trailer depth.
These tubes were joined at one end leaving the tubes about two inches apart.

One tube had 2 castors welded on, one at each end. With the castors on the floor, the other tube had a split about 1/4 of an inch wide along its length that married up with the nut and bolts of the TT's steady legs. These steady legs have to be completely removed to allow the wheeled brackets to go in their place.

An alternative arrangement would be to make up a board with 6 decent sized fully movable castors on it and roll the TT over onto that board, holding it in place with luggage tie-down straps. The castors on the Raclet brackets are really too small except for using on the smoothest of concrete floors. They also sieze up pretty quickly because of the weight they are carrying. The larger the castor you can use, the better all round.

Hope this helps.
