Gosh I was just about to send you some pics of our clubman but someone bet me to it. The uk classified ad was my Clubman I sold it within a week and still miss her. We only sold her as we got a newer model that had an awning and a fridge.
Total length was 17/18 foot unerected. Erected under 21 foot.
Our model was in fantastic condition for it`s age only fault was a squeak on the floor near the door. A tooth mising from the zip and one small patch on the roof.We were the second owner so ithad been well looked after.
Please be warry when picking it up as we tried to buy another clubman a few years ago and it was in disgusting shape it was water logged, the bed boards were dark brown, when they should have been a pale untreated wood colour., the inner tents were missing. We won it on Ebay and travelled to not far from you. It was over 200 miles round trip to collect it. It was not as described and the prat even had his neighbours on both sides light fires( in the rain) to try to disguse the damp smell of the canvas. We told it it was not as descibed and walked away . The prat had the cheak to report us to Ebay.
Any question about the Clubman tel me know.

From what I can remember.
Take off transit cover, we used to fold it and put it over the a frame box (bed board will then cover it.
Wine down legs.
Open bed boards, first one opposite the a frame.Poles will follow the bed boards.
Then we did the poles gradually, stand either side and do one pole at a time, work from the center outwards. Don`t fully erect as you need to check zip on door is linned up and zipped up.Fasted elastic underneath bedboards. Then extend poles to the height you wish.
You def got a bargain, if you get her in good condition and look after her there is no reason to not have a few more years out of her.
I think you will have plenty of room if use the awning, you could get an inner bedroom. Inside the cabin you wil have 3 double beds, our table (not original one) didn`t fit the middle bed so oh made a couple of boards if we even need them.
The awning will be a different mater, I could send you a copy of the Sterling one we have if you need one.
Ps the collour are chocolate and mink ( posh us Sterling owners)

WE GOT IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, i am so pleased, ok, its an old model, but to us its great, the bonus is that it came with all sorts of goodies, hand held vac, hanging larer, fold down bucket and waste bin, leisure battery, pots, pans, kettle, cutlery crockery, sparkling toilet, chemicals, aquaroll with bracket, sack truck thing, waste water container, another water container, a 12v/240v frige and a 12v/240v colour TV and radio, solar power trickle charger (cant see that being much use), various clips, eyelets, pegs and peg puller plus other bits an bobs i can't remember on this edition of the generation game, i have got to flush the water system through and connect the gas up yet but from what i have found so far, for the money its excellent.
Just a couple of questions though, as i only have one socket on my car and i dont think the 240v system charges the leisure battery, is getting a cheap charger the answer and plugging it into the 240v socket next to the leisure battery, also, any tips on flushing the water system, is it just a case of pumping through a full aquaroll of sterilising solution and then rinsing it through ?
Thanks to everyone for your help so far
best wishes
Cliff
