ok, so you may remember the saga of "the wheel" in the summer. you know the one where i lost the wheel and 4 wheel nuts of the trailer half way up a mountain in wales. well having found a site on which to store said trailer (with 4 ill fitting bolts supporitn gthe wheel while i found some). we came home and i entered my quest to find canadian lug bolts in england. short answer......... canada. so i found the bolts and this weekend we took em down to wales and i fitted em to "Rose" we then towed her back to lancashire to her new home in the mother in laws garage ( with power and lights so i can tinker all winter, how cool???). the problem i had was that having held her breath for the first 20 miles of the journey (big lungs mrs flybyngiht has) mrs flybynight then made me stop a couple of times to crawl along the floor and check each wheel nut wiht a ratchet and 21mm socket. They hadnt moved, but she is still not convinced, so can anybody reassure me ( her, i am of the opinion its fine) that this is not a common occurance and if i check the bolts before we set off they will be there when we get there.
------------- everything can be fixed with WD40 and gaffer tape.
If it moves and it shouldnt --Gaffer tape
If it doesnt and it should-- WD40

hmmm risky, i am quite keen on keeping all my body parts where they should be, and i dont want a wheel brace added to any of them.
I am of the above school of thought I have had various items surgicly removed after making surgestions before and am in no way qualified to enter into this debate
