Cheers Mal
Think I understand that, sorry but just one more question, is the roof of the beds the canvas, or is there an inner tent for the bed section?
Have fun at Camping International and leave the plastic/cheque book behind for the time being!!
Say hello to David Hill, he will give you all the info you want and he is'nt a pushy salesman either. Give yourself plenty of time there as there's quite a few folding campers to look at.
Visisted Camping International at Horsham today, got a lot better idea of the layuts of Folding Campers. The only real camper with everything is the Conway Crusader, love it, it has everything we need, but the price although on offer was £8795 which includes an awning is still a litle steep for us at the present. It will be a model to aim for if we seriously get use out of a Folding Camper. So we have decided to buy a older model say 1993, which hasnt got all the mod cons, but has at least a fridge and a simular layout ie dinning area, wich would be the Conway Cruiser or Cardinal. Thanks for all your help.
Thanks for letting us all know how you got on. Glad your visit to Camping Int. was of use.
You're sensible to try a less expensive folding camper until you know how you feel about them. The Crusader really is a beauty though is'nt she! The Conway Cruiser is a great folder to start with, we love ours! It's not that basic (ours is a 1994 model) but the thing I really would love is an oven. Cooking on 2 rings and a grill needs a sense of humour after a while!
If you have'nt been able to see a Cruiser you are welcome to see ours, you only have to ask! We are always out on weekends though - in our Cruiser of course!
Hi Sandy
Thanks for the offer, maybe if Im passing through East Sussex on my way to Kent I might drop you an email. Seen a couple of Conways 1993 models for sale.
