We have just collected today a 2006 Trigano Chantilly.

Were very excited and couldn't resist despite the cold folding out the beds and taking a peak inside at all the goodies.

Only problem is that it has come without any instructions for the awnings/sun Canopy construction, and I wondered if anyone had a manual they could let us see a copy of, or knew online where I could find one. The abundance of poles look very daunting..

We would be very grateful for your help.

Happy Campers...

Thanks Rob.

I did do that on Tuesday night - still awaiting approval, so moved onto this site.

Can you chivvy someone along to approve me at Yahoo. Silly I know getting impatient, if I had the instructions we can't put it up in the 2 inches of snow we have in our garden..  But perhaps we could move all the furniture out of our lounge and do it there.... the excitement is killing us.. roll on April...  LOL

The site is fairly new because the old site was shut down due to unwanted messages offering all sorts of things that were not suitable for families to read. To combat this all members have to be approved on the new site so if the moderator is unavailable, possibly due to the bad weather, there may be a delay.

In the meantime this may help, it's in Dutch but the pictures are fairly clear. Basically you zip the awning on to the cabin and throw it over the cabin, erect the frame at half height, pull the awning over then adjust it for height and tension. It is actually easier than it sounds.

This is the bit I copied from the instruction booklet:

Trigano Vendome, Cheverny, Chantilly, Chambord, Oceane

Awning Assembly

Zip the awning to the cabin canvas by starting on the left hand side. Fold the awning back onto the cabin roof.

Erect the awning frame. Fix onto the cabin frame the 3 poles with hooks.

There are small holes on the cabin frame to take the hooked poles - 1 central and 2 outside ridge poles. Then attach the hooked poles to the ridge roof poles of the awning frame. Roof poles and legs should be in the minimum position to begin with and adjusted by button clips later.

Pull the canvas over the frame and close the door.

Position the frame correctly. The roof poles must be in the middle on the reinforced canvas strips (use the button clips to adjust). Adjust the height of the legs.

Close all zips. Peg the canvas to the ground by starting with the 4 corners

Clip on the roof lining starting in the middle.

Position the kitchen unit, fit the kitchen roof plastic and the draught strip.

This link gives you a pole diagram:

Hope this helps.

Rob

My post should have said:" Thank you fatbloke 28 for supplying these links."

I have found your links very helpful over the last year or so.

Have you looked at that Dutch website recently? Have a look at the Trigano prices.

Thanks again for the links.

Rob
