Help!

I am in the process of moving jobs and as such I will be without a tow bar on a company car for a few weeks, during one of these weeks we are planning a trip away with our TT. Does anyone know if I can hire a car with a tow bar?

Any feedback would be greatfully received.

When our previous Audi was written off the insurers hired us a Shogun from a company that leases 4x4's to businesses.  Called something like SHB.

I believe you'll only get a 4x4 - as Iain says SHB seem to be the main hirers of these.

I know one of our local hire companies also has some vans & pickups with towbars so it may be worth checking around.

I think mitsubishi actually hire 4X4's with tow bars give them a call...

Thanks for all your responses, we have emailed SHB and they do hire vehicles with towbars, so hopefully one way or another we will get away with the TT!

When our car was shunted in the rear two years ago, the insurance company got us a Toyota Avensis with a towbar from Specialist Vehicle Hire. (www.svh.uk.com)
