We are in the process of buying a new trailer tent - we are looking for something big! We have 9mo twins at the moment and will probably have another one or two children. Sleeping space is obviously important but most tents now have two beds plus two under-bed tents to sleep 8 so that is fine. It's the awning that is the issue - and how easy it is to put up.

I like the Trigano Chantilly and Vendome but how easy are their awnings to erect? Are the 'bendy pole' tents like the Cabanom Stratus or Raclet Safari much easier/quicker?

Is there a tent out there even bigger than the Trigano?

Thanks Superscout - what type of Trigano do you have? Is it 20 mins for the entire thing, cabin and awning?

In their catalog Trigano say setup is 5 min without awning. They also have a large trailer tent saying 5 minutes setup with awning called Olympe that looks good

Olympe is good - went to see it today, just not as big as the Chantilly, so we have to decide whether to go for the extra awning space or the easy set-up. Also the Olympe is £4600 but the Chantilly we can get one used once for £2900. A big difference in price!
