Off for our first trip in the camplet, have all the old tent camping stuff but what else will i need for the trailer.

Have bought a groundsheet to cover ground and a separate one to cover beds in case we put a wet tent down,
Got some pads to put under feet
spirit level
chocks
wheel clamp
breakaway cable

Is that all??

Thanks

Levelling ramp or a couple of pieces of wood to level side to side and a bottle of wine.

A piece of wood to put under the Jockey wheel would be helpful - stops it sinking in soft ground - and another bottle of wine

Yep that about covers it the wine is a must ............ we are going to camping international to buy big feet for our steadies (just an excuse to have a trip out really it would be cheaper to do mail order but not as much fun) Hope you have a good time ohhhhhhh almost forgot if you are putting an awning up take a very good sense of humour and two bottles of extra wine LOL

a carpet and a fridge for keeping your wine cool

enjoy your camplet.

Just a quick thought:  I have had my Camplet for over a year, been on about 8 different sites/holidays during this time and never seen another Camplet yet there's a few Camplet owners on here.  Where do you all go?

With all that wine, don't forget corkscrew. just in case you dont get a screwtop?!!

I take a couple of old picnic mats which I put down, better underfoot first thing. I use them instead of ground sheet, just bung them in the machine if get too mucky.Early in the season I take cardboard box as mat for the entrance.

Good luck and have fun - the awning is easy, like a pram hood.

Louise - I feel the same never seen another one, not even at Dorset steam fair the last 2 yrs, and LOADS camp there. -  seen 1 on the road thats all..

I feel a Camp-let gathering on the horizon. What about an owners club?

If someone has one near to me, I'd love to see it going up (not the demo which has nearly sold it to me ;-)  Love the idea of an owners club... what good fun that could be

Anyone?

Hey Wizzy. One of my regular ports of call , with my new Camp-let, will be the South Coast somewhere. I live in SW London so its going to be my default haunt. I, once I have it sussed (!) will be only too pleased to offer you a demo.

Jonathan

(add stafford all one word, at hotmail dot com and I'll let you know when Im in your area).

Im now debating the Owners club thing. Perhaps I had better walk before I run and actually become an owner. !9th March and counting!

It would be great to see a site with more than one Camp-let on
