A good low weight one is the Commanche Montana,I think it
is only about 290Kg.
We had one for 8 years and was very impressed with it.make sure you get one with brakes especially having a small car.

Oh right didnt realise with the breaks, would that dandy i mentioned been for sale have them?. I see your from sheffield too, is there any places you can view tt or fc in sheffield cheers.

If it's a 4 berth Dandy Dart they weigh in at 350Kg net, 500Kg max gross.  The older Dandy 4 is going to be similar.

The Comanche Montana is lighter (395 Kg max) but I think brakes are optional on them, so it might be difficult to find a second hand one that has them fitted?

Steve

Well i think im going to have to waitfor the time been. Im unsure the fiesta would be able to tow the trailer, 2 or 3 people, and luggage, think it would be pushing it to the limit. Im going to save more money for a bigger car and the camper , thank you for the advice it will come in handy at a later date for me.

A couple of cheap Dandy 4 berth campers on E Bay at the moment.

Here & Here

A real back to basics vintage one here.

Don't dismiss an old one.  They tend to be well looked after.

Steve.
