To be fair, although you do to a certain extent get what you pay for, whay you pay for in a Camp-Let tends IMO to be style over substance.
They are certainly well built, and that plastic foldey-kitchen thing is neat, but seriously not worth 6 grand. I agree - save the cash and buy a Trigano Odyssee. Or, if you are concerned about canvas quailty, buy a Raclet Moovea.
But in any case, quality is what you make of it. If you look after a Sunncamp properly it will last far longer than a Camp-Let which has been abused.
