We had a similar problem on our previous unit, and putting the poles up to their full extent did not remove the problem. We tackled it by re-applying waterproofing at the beginning of each season, which stopped the roof leaking. We still had problems with damp creeping in around the edges of the beds in heavy rainfall, so that we had to air the bedding once the weather cleared. A few years ago we upgraded to a 2004 Pullman and we are delighted at how much more waterproof it is. The actual canvas seems to be treated with some kind of water repellent, whereas our old unit had just normal canvas that just soaked up the water.
