We have a Peugeot Expert which we use as a day van,am thinking of getting either an Eriba Puck or an Esterel folding caravan to tow with it,but as I,ve never towed before,am wondering what experienced members would suggest for us please ?
not towed either but they tell me the puck is a dream to tow well plenty of good second hand units in these if you look just get a warrenty and beware of old window rubbers in i think grey as they were not good! take some one who knows about this make, the folding one should be easy too.Find out the weights your car can safely tow though!
You could always look at a good Rapido Conformatic as they are light enough to tow. The benefit of having a day van is that you don't always need to erect the caravan just to rest or have a brew. But don't get one if you don't want to be noticed on site!
------------- Mavericks don't get to lead the herd - not that they want to!
Why not look at the Fleurette Tamaris pop-top caravans, look in our gallery, we tow ours with a 1.5 diesel Micra, light & easy to tow.
These vans are not in production now, ours is a 2000, but have been superseded by the Trigano Silver range, all are similar, just depends what you have to spend.
